Objective: The present study was designed to investigate the inhibitory effects of quercetin on the expressions of NF-κB,TRAIL and TNF-α in liver tussues with chronic hepatitis B and cirrhosis injury and its molecular mechanisms.Methods: The tissue samples were harvested on disused livers after liver transplantation for 5 patients with chronic hepatitis B and cirrhosis. All samples were cut into 1mm~3 tissue blocks.The tissue blocks were cultured with DMEM supplemented with 10% Fetal Serum. In this study,every patient's tissue blocks were divided into six groups:only culture medium group, liposome group, 5μmol/L quercetin group, 25μmol/L quercetin group, 100μmol/L quercetin group and 500μmol/L quercetin group. 24 hours later, levels of NF-κB,TRAIL and TNF-α in liver tissues were measured by real time PCR and immunohistochemistry.
