Anlysis Of Related Factors On Periodontal Disease In Sichuan Province

Oral health is one of most important parts of human health, which is relative to social-environment and social-behavior factors. For its high incidence, Periodontal disease which affects oral health is considered to be one of the two most important oral diseases by more and more oral health professionals. In this study, based on the third national epidemiological survey on oral health,400 randomicity samples from Sichuan province were requested to fill a questionnaire and clinically measured.we analyzed the data for the social and behaviored factors and tried to inditify some relevant factors related to periodontal disease in Sichuan province. In order to provide sciendific evidence for dicision-making for prevention of periondontal disease, Simple fator Chi-squre test,Spearman bivariate correlate analysis and Logistic multiregression were used to idenfy the relationship between social and economical condition, life style, oral health attitude,oral hygiene habits,dental treatment,knledge and gingival index (GI), Simplified oral hygiene index (OHSI),probing depth (PD),Bleeding on probing(BOP),initial periondontitis, moderate periodontitits and advanced periodontitis among 400 samples.By the analysis,the results are as followed:1. questionnaire results:...
