| Health Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) measures the subjective felling and experience of patients on physical and social psychological function related with illness and treatment. As one brand-new health-evaluating method the research of Health Related Quality of Life meets the need of society's developing and the increasing standard of human's health. And it also represents the deeper respect to person's social value of the modern medical treatment. Combined HRQOL with quantity of life we can bring a series of new indices, all these indices can be used to measure utility of drugs, and it is the way called cost-utility analysis in Pharmacoeconomics. HRQOL research hasn't been in the ascendant, but there has been faultiness in the application research of HRQOL. The author gives the countermeasures to accomplish the application research from both macro and micro point of view in order to improve the level of the application research and promote HRQOL's application in Pharmacoeconomics.Through the way of history review and literature analyzing the author analyzed the actuality and the problem of the application research and got conclusions that the application research had come down to several domains but there are still problems. The application research is short of necessary capital support and the structure of researchers is irrational. The technique of the research is nonstandard.In order to improve the level of the application research and promote the HRQOL's application in Pharmacoeconomics, the government should attach more importance to the HRQOL research by setting research found, putting the "China Pharmacoeconomics evaluation guidelines" in to force , making relative policies to prove corporation of the college and the hospital; training professionals.
