Forensic Medicine Analysis On Characteristic Of Road Traffic Injury(RTI)

With the accerleration of the globalization and the dramatic development of the vehicle,the traffice accident have became the first nuisance that threaten the health of people. In April 2002, the WTO predicted that road traffic injury (RTI) will rank the third of the death cause in the 2020 in the conference about the precaution strategy of the global road injure which was held in the headquarter in Geneva .The trend of the global traffic accident is stable or decreased in total, but it is remain high in 2005 in china. In 2004 ,the total number of casualties that due to the traffic accident amount to 500 000,the china numbers amount to 104 000. In 2004,the total number of traffic accident is less than 100 000,the rate of casualties per 10000 registered vehicles first entered the scope of single-digit. It had done much researches on the etiopathigenesis , experiment model, epidemiology, characteristics of trauma, the pre-hospital care and the in-hospital death of the RTI. It is meaningful for the decrease of the rate of the casualty and mutilation.This article which is based on 1913 traffic accidents autospy cases that happened in guangzhou in 2002 ,mainly analyze the time of death ,cause of death,feature and mechanism of trauma and the feature of the six traffic type from the epidemiology and forensic medicine of the RTI,and then analyze the forensic meaning so as to solve the problem that the coroner meet in the process...
