Objective:Local regional relapse is one of the most important factors which result in death for patients with local advanced cholangiocarcinoma and the underwent radical operation hilar cholangiocarcinoma, If local control of the tumor could be improved, and the therapeutic side-effects of patients wasn't increased, the patients' survival rate could be raised. How to raise the local control rates of cholangiocarcinoma? Our study explored the efficacy of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy in the non-resectable hilar cholangiocarcinoma with stenting, the underwent radical operation hilar cholangiocarcinoma, and local advanced cholangiocarcinoma. The associated factors that influence the prognosis was also analyzed. Some effective evidences were expected to obtain by these studing. Thus we can offer some effective methods to treat the local advanced cholangiocarcinoma. Patients And Methods:Part one: A retrospective analysis of 23 non-resectable hilar cholangiocarcinoma patients was made, the group A which were treated with stenting followed by 3DCRT was 15 patients and the group B with stenting alone was 8 patients. Those patients accepted radiotherapy were treated with large fractionated radiotherapy (LFRT), received 4Gy in every one fraction, 3 fractions every week, and a total dose of 48-52 Gy were delivered in 12-13 fractions. The overall response rate of group A,...
