Objective : 1. To explore the practicability and reliability on measuring the skin thickness of children by 13MHz high-frequency ultrasonic.2.To collect the data of skin thickness in children on different gender, age and parts of body by using high-frequency ultrasonic, based on that, we can choose the appropriate thickness of taken-skin when operating skin-grafting for improving the quality of operation of plastic-aesthetics surgery, burns or trauma, diminishing postoperative sequelae and complication. 3.Demonstrate the relationships between the skin thickness and age, gender through statistical analysis. 4. Establish a credible foundation for the further research and set up a database of skin thickness in children. Methods:The skin thicknesses of children in different locations of body were measured by 13MHz high-frequency ultrasonic. 191 cases of children without systemic disease and injury in skin were chosen as object, their age were from 1 to 18 years old, and they were divided into four groups by age and two groups by gender. The areas commonly used for taken-skin in grafting were chosen as the locations measured, as follows: cheeks, chest, abdomen, back, forearm, fundament, upper leg. Total data gathered were analysed with statistical software SPSS13.0 and the differences were compared between each groups. The results had significant difference as P<0.05.Results:1. The data of skin thickness: the total skin thickness was ranged from 0.092cm to 0.220cm; the thickness of epidermis was ranged...
