Assessment Of Carbon Nanoparticles Mapping Sentinel Lymph Nodes In Large Bowel Adenocarcinoma Operations

Objective: To identify intraoperative sentinel lymph node mapping by injection carbon nanoparticles is feasible, precise,and ascendant.To discuss the improving function of locally injection carbon nanoparticles in large bowel adenocarcinoma operations, and research the sentinel lymph node status reflects the regional node status and focused analysis of the sentinel lymph node improve staging.Methods: These 42 pationts with large bowel adenocarcinoma from May,2005to April,2006,were randomized into two groups,21 cases with local injection of 1 ml (50mg) carbon nanoparticles suspension injection around the peripherd of the neoplasm(CNP group), another 21 cases with standerd lymphadenectomy only(control group).
