Part One A Study On Clinical And Electrophysiological Features Of MyoclonusObjective: To explore the clinical and electrophysiological characteristics of myoclonus from different generating locations and their properties by polyneuroelectrophysiological tests.Methods: 32 myoclonic patients were analyzed by video electroencephalogram electromyogram polygraphic recordings (VEEG-EMG), jerk-locked back averaging (JLA) and short latency somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP). They were classified into cortical myoclonus (CM), subcortical myoclonus (SCM), and other myoclonus group according to their generating locations, and also were classified into epileptic and nonepileptic myoclonus based on the different properties of various myoclonus.Results: 32 patients were observed, including 14 cases of CM, 14 cases of SCM and 3 cases of other myoclonus.
