Clinical Research On Early Diabetic Nephropathy Treated With Reinforcing Kidney, Circulating Blood And Restoring Collateral

Objective: To observe the clinic effect of TangLuotong (a prescription of traditional Chinese medicine) in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy, and explore its functional mechanism. Methods: This study included 68 patients with early diabetic nephropathy. They were further divided into two subgroups randomly, and treated with regular modern medicine that can lower blood sugar. One group (38)was treated to take Tangluotong orally, and the other group(30) was taken losartan orally. After two months of treatment, the changes of clinic symptom and laboratory index were examined. Result:1.the total effect of Tangluotong treatment group is 89.5%, the effect of the contrast group is 66.7%, there is a remarkable difference(p<0.05).2.The total effect of Tangluotong meliorating clinic symptom is 89.47%,the effect of the contrast group is 60%, there is a remarkable difference(P<0.05).3.There is remarkable difference at decreasing blood sugar and HbA1c in the group, but there is not difference between the two groups(P>0.05).4.Tangluotong can decrease blood lipid, ET, and NO, promote blood flow, and meliorate kidney function and retina disease. There is a remarkable difference between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinic research can offer a new idea and enrich the theory of TCM treating early diabetic nephropathy. It affirms that Tangluotong can reinforce kidney, circulating blood and restoring collateral. The conclusion founds the basement to further diabetic research.
