Objective To observe the clinical effect in patients with hypertensive hemorrhage stroke acute with a new method called puncture-drainage combined with modulating Qi & Xue. Methods 64 patients with hypertensive hemorrhage stroke Acute were divided into treatment group and control group. 33 cases were served as treatment group and underwent a minimally invasive surgery of drainage of hematoma under CT guide with puncture combined with the Traditional Chinese Medicine method of modulating Qi & Xue postoperatively. 31cases were served as control group and underwent conservative treatment. The clinical neurological deficient scale (CNDS) and the levels of plasma of TNF-αand IL-6 in patients 14 days postoperatively were compared as a short term evaluation index. Activities of daily living (ADL) grading of patients 3 months postoperatively was compared as a long term index. Results The clinical neurological deficient scale and the levels of plasma of TNF-αand IL-6 showed significant lower in treatment group than in control group(P<0.05).In the long term study, the rate of excellent or good was 72.7% and the death rate was 12.1% in treatment group, which were significant prior to those in control group(P<0.05). Conclusions This new method of puncture- drainage combined with modulating Qi & Xue with minimally invasive should be a best way of integrated traditional and western medicine to treat the hypertensive hemorrhage stroke acute.
