Diagnostic Analysis Of Computerized Tomography On Primary Gallbladder Carcinoma

Objective: To improve diagnosis level of primary gall bladder carcinoma and researching the effective image examination method on diagnosing primary gallbladder carcinoma in clinical practice, the computed tomography (CT) appearances of different patterns of primary gallbladder carcinoma were analyzed, and the diagnosis value and guiding value of CT on surgical operation were discussed aim at gallbladder carcinoma. Material and Method: The 18 case (male 5 cases, female 13 cases) of CT materials of primary gallbladder carcinoma, those were confirmed by pathological diagnosis after operation, were analyzed. Most of the cases were 60-70 years old. All of the cases were scanned both in regular and in intensive with GE-Snergy spiral CT machine made in USA and Toshiba Asteion double array CT machine made in Japan. Results: The CT appearance of gallbladder carcinoma were divided as a tumor mass pattern (10 case, 55.6%), a nodular pattern (5 cases. 27.8%) and thicken wall pattern (3 cases, 15.6%). The tumor mass pattern appeared as a tumor mass in gallbladder, being differ from the liver carcinoma. The nodular pattern appeared as some lobular soft tissue nodes in gallbladder and the transverse diameter of the nodes was lager than 1.0 cm, being differ from the polypus of gallbladder.. The wall thicken pattern appeared as irregular, non-symmetric thicken wall of gallbladder, being differ from even thicken wall. Gallbladder carcinoma usually companied with gallstone and metastasis to lymphatic nodes around the liver and the pancreas. Conclusion: 1.13 cases of the primary gallbladder carcinoma were diagnosed correctly before the surgical operation. and the rate of correct diagnosis was 72.2%. 2. The direct signs of the CT examination of the primary gallbladder carcinoma were divided as the massive pattern, the nodular pattern and the wall thicken pattern. The characteristic CT signs of primary gallbladder carcinoma might be useful for improving the accuracy of the diagnosis and the distinguishing diagnosis.
