ObjectiveTo investigate effects of three-stage rehabilitation program on acute stroke patients andmake the relevant clinical economic evaluation.Methods100 cases of stroke admitted in Neurology Department were selected. All cases weredivided into rehabilitation training group (50) and controlled group (50) in randomizedblock design. Both groups were given general internal medicine. Besides, patients inrehabilitation group undergone standardized three-stage rehabilitation (HospitalRehabilitation-Community rehabilitation). All patients were evaluated by the same doctorwith FCA scale at the admission, 3 month, and 6 month after stroke. The direct medicalcost, direct non-medical cost, indirect cost and the total cost were investigated. The detailedcost reports were concluded with the method of cost-effectiveness analysis and incrementalcost-effectiveness analysis. Multivariate regression analysis was used to determine thefactors influencing the cost.ResultsThere were no significant difference between rehabilitation group and controlled group atthe entering time (p>0.05) .The functional status of patients in two groups had been...
