Objectives:To observe the change of pathology in pulmonary vascular and the informations of proliferation and apoptosis in pulmonary vascular smooth muscle cell when pulmonary hypertension induced by high pulmonary blood flow happen. To comprehend the anti-inflammatory,antiproliferative and proapoptotic effects of simvastatin in pulmonary hypertension.Method:24 male SD rats were randomly divided into splitless group (n=8),spliting group (n=8) and spliting with simvastatin group (n=8).Between was made in rats of spliting group and spliting with simvastatin group. The rats of shunting with simvastatin group were fed by simvastatin with dose of 2mg/kg.d to interfere. All rats in three groups were fed in identical niche for 11 weeks.Pulmonary artery mean pressue (mPAP) of each rat was measured by using a right cardiac catheterization procedure after 11-week,at the same time, lung tissue of each rat was drawn from it.α-smooth muscle actin of pulmonary artery was stained by Van-Gieson with immunohistochemistry method.Under the microscope, Vascular occlusion score (VOS) was calculated and the results were compared by statistical way. Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) of pulmonary arterial vascular smooth muscle cell was detected with immunohistochemistry method. The apoptosis information of pulmonary arterial vascular smooth muscle cell was detected by TUNEL staining method of immunohistochemistry.Result:1, pulmonary arterial pressures of spliting group rats were higher than those of splitless and spliting with simvastatin groups obviously(P<0.01).The vascular occlusion scores (VOS) of spliting group were higher...
