Background and ObjectivesColorectal carcinoma is one of the common malignant tumors that both its incidence rate and death rate rank the forefront of all the malignant tumors. In recent years, the incidence rate of colorectal carcinoma has been rising year by year. Like other tumors, colorectal carcinoma also has the characteristics such as invasion and metastasis in process of its occurrence and development. Its clinical symptoms are not obvious in early tumor phase. So it always has made invasion and metastasis when the patient comes to see a doctor, and it's difficult to be treated and has a poor prognosis. It is necessary and important to study the mechanisms of tumor's invasion and metastasis. The mechanisms of tumor's invasion and metastasis are very complex. Occurance of the tumor is a multistage progress. Many genes' variation devote into its progression and aggressiveness. Tumor cells secrete many kinds of protein enzymes to break the extracellular matrix which take part in tumor invasion and metastasis, shch as serine protein enzymes, matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), cysteine protein enzymes and aspartic acid protein enzymes and so on. At present, serine protein enzymes are remarkable in all the protein enzymes. Urokinase-type plasminogen...
