This thesis composes of two parts. In the first part, we have investigated the synthesis and bioactivities of hydroxyl porphyrins. We have also tried different methods to synthesize formyl porphyrin. In the second part, we have designed and synthesized two pair of enantiomers with dicyclohexyl bone structure and studied their phase transition temperatures.meso-tetrakis (4-hydroxyphenyl) porphyrin (THP) and meso-tetrakis (3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl) porphyrin (T(OH)3PP) were synthesized in high yields through two steps, and their bioactivities were investigated in the first part.1. The protective effect of THP on ECV-304 injured were explored by EMP. We investigated the toxic activity of THP to ECV-304 cells by MTT method and the optimal concentration of THP was 0.01mg·mL-1. The protective effect of THP to ECV-304 cells was measured under different intensity of EMP with the measurement of chemiluminescence. Through EMP irradiation, the values of irrad+drug groups were all lower dramatically than the values of the control groups. All these experiments...
