Aim Surgeons have repaired and rebuilded the injured tissues with traditional thread suture for a long time, it has always resulted in infection, produced granulation tissue, and restricted the naturally restorative process. So we need to find a precision and less injury way in organization rebuild. The laser tissue welding maked it come true. Recent years, laser tissue welding has aroused more and more attention of many people. In this study, bowel of rabbits have been anastomosed by a kind of low power CO2 laser —annular CO2 laser and compared with stitch suture so that we can estimated the possibility of laser tissue welding through we measured the pressure of vascular and observed the pathological chang. Method Thirty rabbits' bowel were anastomosised by using 500mW output power carbon dioxide laser and compared with tradition stitch suture. Four rabbits were regarded as short-time team and we measured the pressure of vascular. Twenty rabbits were seen as long-time team and we observed the pathological changes in different time.Results The short time test: The bursting pressure of vascular can stand up with the destruct by the highest pressure of bowel.
