Renal clear cell carcinoma (RCCC) is common malignant tumor in urinary system. RCCC have a higher degree of malignancy and aren't sensitive to radio-treatment or chemo-treatment. Operation is the best way to treat it. However, at present therapeutic efficacy still doesn't reach to an ideal condition because it is difficult to get a early diagnosis. So it is important to search for a new biology marker for early diagnosis of RCCC. Survivin is an inhibitor of apoptosis proteins found in recent years. Our study is to detect the expression of Survivin in RCCC and elucidates its relation to Bcl-2 and CyclinDl. Methods 61 RCCC specimens and 10 nomal nephridial tissues were obtained. Semiquantitative RT-PCR method was used to detect mRNA expression of Survivin; immunohistochemistry method was used to test the expression of Survivin, Bcl-2 and CyclinDl and compared to nomal nephridial tissues. We analyzed associativity between Survivin expression and clinical pathology characters. Meanwhile, we analyzed its relation to Bcl-2 and CyclinDl. Results Survivin mRNA were examined in 18 of 32(56. 25%) RCCC tissues.
