The QOL And Psychological Factor In The Hernia Of Intervertebral Discs Patients

Objective: Aim is to study psychological state for hernia of intervertebral discs. We attempt to provide psychological evidence for hernia of intervertebral discs patients.Methods: Objects We have randomly drawn out 146 cases of hernia of intervertebral discs During April 2005 to February 2006 in the first affiliated hospital of Dalian medical university ,the second affiliated hospital of Dalian medical university and Dalian orthopedics hospital. Age range is from 17 to 82 years old, and average is 46.66 years old, male is 94 cases and female is 52 cases. Methods We have investigated with general questionnaire, Eysenck's personality questionaire (EPQ),symptom check list-90 (SCL-90) and General quality of life interview (GQOLI-74), and data was input in the computer, statistic analysis used sample t test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple Linear Regression.Results 1.There are significant difference in the time of sitting, body weights, muscle of the whole body and muscle of the back(P<0.05) between the operations and the nonoperations.2.There are no significant difference in the personality(P>0.05) between the operations and the nonoperations.3.Results has suggested a significant difference between the male and female for GQOLI-74 in hernia of intervertebral discs patients, they are also show in the ability of interpersonal communication and married and family (p<0.05),There are significant difference between the operation and nonoperation in psychology social and econecic functional dimension (P<0.05).4.There are significant difference in hernia of intervertebral discs for 9 factors of SCL-90(P<0.05), and higher scores in...
