Objective: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the more hazardous complications on blood capillaries of diabetes. And it is the main reason that can cause death and mutilation. It was reported that: in America and Europe, it is about 1/3 End-stage renal diseases (ESRD) that are caused by diabetes (almost 75% II type diabetes). It effects people's health and quality of life seriously because of its bad cure rate and high death rate. In currently, there are no ideal methods and medicines to heal it.The typical pathology change of DN is insist of kidney hypertrophy, basal lamina thickening, glomeruli extracellular matrix ingredient gathering, et al. Its pathologic mechanism has the close relation to high blood sugar, the excrescent of kidney blood dynamics and the household hereditary, etc. Following the improvement of molecular biology, in recent years, many people discovered that many varieties of cell factors take part in the process of DN and exertive important functions. Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) is the core factor in these cell factors. Its function involves the change of glomeruli blood dynamics, the metabolize of extracellular matrix, the cell propagation and the cell hypertrophy. Platelet-derived growth...
