Objective :To study the clinical and electrophysiologi- cal features of diabetic neuropathy and the principle of distibution of TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine) syndromes and to explore the relationship between the type of TCM syndromes and the clinical and electrophysiological changes of diabetic patients.Methods:114 cases of patients of diabetic neuropathy were observed. According to syndrome differentiation, they were classified as Qi deficiency syndrome, Yin deficiency syndrome,Yang deficiency syndrome, blood deficiency syndrome, heat syndrome, bloodstagnation syndrome, and damp syndrome. Standard sensory and motor nerve conduction studies were porformed in the patients of diabetic neuropathy, sensory nerve conduction velocity (SCV),amplitude of sensory nerve action potential(SNAP),and amplitude of compound muscle action potential(CMAP) of median nerve, ulnar nerve and common peroneal nerve were studied simultaneously. In addition, TG,CHOL,HDL,LDL,APOA,APOB,Lpa,HbA1c and...
