The health human resource is the primary component of the health resource, while the nursing human resource is the key element of the human system. Consequently, it is very important, because increasing the utilization efficiency and qualities of nursing human resource is related to rational allocation of the human resource.ObjectiveThrough measuring the nursing work load of special-needed hospital ward in order to calculate the proportion of sickbed with nurses, we can approach the best allocated proportion of nursing human resource in special-needed hospital ward, apply the basis for formulating the best allocated proportion and direct the reasonable allocation in clinical work to guarantee the quality of nursing. Methodswe use the stopwatch to measure the nursing work load of special-needed hospital ward in some Grade III-A hospitals of Shen-Zhen. Resultwe investigate the scale, situation of authorized staff, nurses'sex, ages, technical title, working years etc. The equally proportion is 1:0.49, the max is 1:0.57, the min is 1:0.4. Through measuring the nursing time of special-needed hospital ward, we can know the equally time of direct nursing projects, daily nursing time, the proportion of direct and indirect projects and we can calculate the proportion of sickbed with nurses of special-needed hospital ward.Conclusionthe study indicated some rough features, such as nurses'academic degrees and whole knowledge are lower. There are spatial in whole quality of nurses and special-needed medical. The nurses is lacked in special-needed hospital ward. Health propagating and educating is weak segment. We should enlarge the proportion of health propagating and educating. According to the nursing work load , we should allocate the proportion with 1:0.64. If there are too many paralytic patients, we should increase the quantity of nurses and advise reasonable allocating nurses in order to become the optimization.PropositionFormulate the classified allocating standard of nurses. Unfold the study of the special-needed hospital ward in other area.
