Parkinson' s disease (PD) is a kind of degenerative disease of the central nervous system in the middle-age and old age. With the development of the social, its high incidence and morbidity harmed the human health seriously. The treatment of PD is very difficult . Up to the present, there is not a therapy that could cure PD totally. The PD patients need treatment in their whole life, which brings about enormous loss of social and economy. L-dopa has still been a "the gold standard" of the therapy of PD in that it has advantages of quick effect and easing the symptom obvious etc. This therapy could improve the PD' s symptoms, however, it would have no command over the PD progress. Moreover, with the extension of the medicine time and the enlargement of dosage, L-dopa' s effect would decline gradually and its poisonous side-effects would increase by degrees. Surgical operation has a better effect in the near future, however, its curative effect of long-term is disappointing. Although the research of gene therapy indicates the exciting foreground, the gene transplant is still placed at the experimental stage only and is faraway in the clinical application because of the immunity repulsion, the problem of the ethics and so on. In the recent years, it has been accepted by degrees to treat PD with TCM by more and more people. People believe that TCM therapy could not only improve the PD' s symptom but also command over the PD progress. Purpose:For old people, its visceral qi, blood, yin are all deficient, deficiency of liver and kidney cause stirring wind , then manifested as deficiency of qi and blood, stirring wind. In this study, we choose Ding-Zhen decoction, take a prospective random parallelism comparison survey, by the observations of using Ding-Zhen decoction on qi-blood deficient and stirring wind type PD, try to search the principle of TCMon the oncology and the treating methods of qi-blood deficiency and stirring wind syndrome PD, provide basic and clinical proves for the TCM syndrome differentiation.Although the course of PD is long and the treatment is difficult, it provides a very long treatment time for us at the same time. Therefore, we should make use of this good opportunity and develop the TCM treatment of PD, which is one of the direction that we work hard. This research adopts the method of the clinical random parallelism comparison and observes the PD No. 3 ' s clinical curative effect and security, trying to look for a new way to the PD. Method:This study elects the PD patients which syndrome is deficiency of qi and blood, stirring wind due to yin-deficiency as studied objects to take a prospective random parallelism comparison survey. We gained the random numbers from pems3. 1 for windows which refer to EG:CG=1:1 amounting to 60. We divided the patients into 2 groups simply for the time that they came into our hospital, and gave them Ding-Zhen decoction and Madopar or herb placebo and Madopar referring to the randomization. The test ran referring to the test requirement rigorously. At last, we collected 60 cases. All cases of EG and CG has not been lost. Result :According to the comparison of age, gender, family history, Hoehn —Yahr classification standard and the degree of dysfunction of life before treatment, analysis of data indicates that the difference of two group before treatment is not significant, the basal line of two groups is coincident, and with comparability. The outcome shows: Contrast the integral of UPDRS of two groups of prior-treatment to which of post-treatment, the EG's integral of post-treatment of psychosis, behavior, emotion, ordinary activity and movement function has decreased than that of prior-treatment. The difference is significant (P<0.05) .However, the EG's integral of post-treatment of complication is not improved significantly (P>0. 05) . The CG' s integral of post-treatment of ordinary activity and movement function has decreased than that of prior-treatment. The difference is significant (P<0. 05) .However, the CG's integral of post-treatment ofpsychosis , behavior , emotion and complication is not improvedsignificantly (P>0. 05) .Contrast improvement rate of the integral of UPDRS of two groups ofpost-treatment, in terms of the improvement rate of the integral ofpsychosis, behavior, emotion and movement function, the EG is superiorto the CG. The difference is significant (P<0. 05) .But, in terms of theimprovement ratio of the integral of ordinary activity and thecomplication, the difference of the two groups is not significant (P>0. 05)oComparision according to the improvement rate, the difference issignificant(P < 0.05), These indicate that the curative effect oftreatment of EG is superior to that of CG.Conclusion:Ding-Zhen decoction is an effective. decoction to cure PD which syndrome is deficiency of qi and blood and stirring wind due to deficiency, it can significantly improve the patients' psychoses, behavior, emotion, ordinary activity and movement function. For the PD which oncology is qi-blood deficiency and stirring wind due to deficiency, treating according to the liver and kidney, nourishing qi and blood, dispelling wind and calming down liver can achieve clinical effectiveness.
