| Objective 1.To research the cognitive impairment of Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI). 2.To observe the oxidative stress in Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI). 3.To explore the characteristic of lipid metabolism of in Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI).Methods 32 cases were divided into MCI group (21 cases) and normal control group (11 cases). According to the criteria of MCI made by Peterson, 21 subjects with MCI were diagnosed. All the cases were examined the delay recall with MMSE,tested the working memory and attention with digit span, and checked the pattern recognition and construction function with block design. Measurements were made on the superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content in serum of all the subjects. And the levels of lipid and lipoprotein in serum were determined too.Results 1.The characteristics of the cognitive impairment in Mild Cognitive Impairment: comparing with the normal control subjects, the subjects with MCI were mainly impaired in the delay recall(p=0.000).But no difference in statistics was found between the tow groups(p=0.553) when we studied in the working memory and attention. In aspect of the pattern recognition and construction function, we found a significant difference between MCI and normal control groups(p=0.040). The subjects with MCI have shown a deterioration in this function. 2.The impact of oxidative stress on Mild Cognitive Impairment: compared with control group ,MDA contents was higher(p=0.001) and SOD activity was lower significantly in subjects with MCI(p=0.045).3.
