Objective: To analysis the clinical influential factors on the pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET). Methods: 177 cycles of IVF-ET were analyzed retrospectively, which were done from August 1999 to November 2005 in our reproductive center. Step-wise logistic regression analysis was done to select useful influential factors on the pregnancy outcome of IVF-ET, which include female age, the categories of infertility, serum concentration of basal follicle stimulating hormone (bFSH) on the 2end day of menstrual cycle, the amount of Gonadtropin (Gn), endometrial thickness and serum concentration of estradiol (E2) on the day of human chorionic gonadtropin (hCG) injection and the number of retrieved oocytes. Results: The rate of clinical pregnancy was 31.07%(55/177), 177 cycles of IVF-ET aged 2643 years (mean 32.62±3.36 years), in which primary infertility occurs in 45.76%(81/177)and secondary infertility occurs in 54.24%(96/177), the average serum concentration of bFsh was (7.14±3.50 )IU/L (range 1.8026.00 IU/L). The amount of Gn were used, on average, at (33.68±11.94)ampoules (range 1276 ampoules). Endometrial thickness from more than 17.4mmto less than 5.2mm(mean 10.14±2.32 mm) and the average serum concentration of E2 was (1620.26±851.59)pg/ml (range 40.00-4272.00 pg/ml) on the day of hCG injection. The mean retrieved oocytes were (11.82±7.45) oocytes (range...
