Malaria is one of the most important infectious diseases that is harmful to people's health. Malaria, AIDS and tuberculosis, have been targeted as three major global public health problems urgently to be controlled by WHO. Within four species of human plasmodium parasites, Plasmodium vivax is the most wide-spread parasites and occurs mostly malaria cases outside Africa. Although vivax malaria rarely causes death, but the aspect of relapse makes it more difficult to control than falciparum malaria.Case management including early diagnosis and prompt treatment is the important component of malaria control project. With the emergence and diffusion of multi-drug resistant of Plasmodium falciparum, global malaria control faced with new challenge. Many countries, especially the African countries have to adjust their national anti-malaria drug policies by using new expensive antimalarial. In recent years, drug resistant of P. vivax has been reported in many countries. However, due to lack of suitable method for P.vivax drug sensitivity test, there are no relative data for drug resistant of P. vivax in China until now.The in vivo drug sensitivity test is the classical method for drug...
