The Initial Foundation Of A 3-dimension Interactive CAI System In Fixed Prosthodontics

Background: The 3D technique has played an increasingly important role in medical teaching. In oral medicine, there have been the models of jaws and dentition developed for the instruction purpose in home and abroad, and some simple 3-D flashes were also made to show the TMJ movement and the treatment procedure of the oral diseases. However, there are still some shortcomings in the previous work as follows:1. Due to its high cost , complicated procedure and too many influencing factors, the way of modeling is hard to be widely used.2. The existing flashes are too simple to demonstrate the complicated therapeutic procedures such as the tooth preparation.3.
