Trichophytosis rubrum is one of the most common fungi that cause superficial mycoses. The traditional identification methods of Trichophytosis rubrum in morphology and biochemistry are always complex and easily lead to confused outcome. A convenient precise method of identification is urgently needed to match the clinical diagnosis. The present researches focus on the method of molecular biology. The superficial mycoses caused by Trichophytosis rubrum is hard to heal and easily relapse. The molecular identification is fit to revolve the problem of multi-infection and relapse. The objective of this research is to find a perfect way to serve the clinical identification of Trichophytosis rubrum through genetic analysis of the 6 isolates from 6 different lesions of a patient.
