Objectives:To observe the pathological changes, the expression of HSP70 and the apoptosis in small intestinal epithelium after burn injury and the treatment of anisodamine. To study the regularity of HSP70 expression and apoptosis in small intestinal mucosa and the influence of anisodamine. To explore the protective effect of anisodamine on small intestinal mucosa and the influence of the HSP70 expression on the apoptosis in small intestinal epithelium. Methods:The scalded rats were taken as the model.55 SD rats were employed in the study and were randownly divided into 2 groups:simple burn group(group A), anisodamine+ burn group(group B),The other S SD rats(group C) were used as the normal control. The intestinal tissue was determined at 3,6,12,24 and 48 hour after 30% TBSA III degree scald. HSP70 expression in small intestinal mucosa was determined by TUNEL.To observe the pathological changes of intestinal tissues by HE.Result:The level of HSP70 at different time after burn was significantly higher than that in group C(P<0.05).The level of HSP70 was highest at 12h after scald and the second highest level of HSP70 was at 48h after burn. The level of HSP70 in group A was significantly lower than that in group B at most time points after scald(P<0.05). Apoptotic index in small intestinal epithelium at different time after burn was significantly higher than that in group C(P<0.05). Apoptotic index was highest at 12h after scald and the second highest Apoptotic index was at 48h after burn. Apoptotic index in group A was significantly lower than that in group B at most time points after scald(P<0.05).Pathology by HE staining revealed that small intestinal epithelium tissues of burn group were damaged obviously after burn but the small intestinal tissues of control group were integrated and had no pathological changes. The damages of small intestinal epithelium tissues of anisodamine+ burn group were relieved obviously. Conclusions: The small intestinal epithelium tissues of SD rats were damaged obviously during the early burning stage, and maybe the apoptosis in small intestinal epithelium cells is one of the most important reasons in the damage of small intestinal epithelium tissues of SD rats after burn injury. Anisodamine can...
