It is a large number of consumption and the crowd who consume alcohol drinks in the world. So chronic alcoholism, alcohol dependence and other disease by alcohol had became social and medical problem. Many scholars had studied and researched toxicity of alcohol. Because the interaction of gene and alcohol may change the metabolic process of alcohol and the express of acceptor effected by alcohol, alcohol can cause versatility abnormality in growth and function on a number of organ. For example, fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) can be resulted in serious of prenatal alcohol exposure. Now the study and research of effects on auditory system by alcohol are deeper and deeper with the development of methods investigating central nervous system. Embryotoxicity and direct toxicity of alcohol can pose many effects on auditory system, such as extending latency of auditory brainstem response (ABR) wave which may caused by direct toxicity of alcohol making brain stem injury and decreasing conduction velosity of nerve impulse in alcohol user. It was discovered that the incidence rate lowing or response disappearing, latency delaying, amplitude reducing...
