Study Of Mechanisms And Therapeutics Of Piceid On Parkinson's Disease

Objective: To approach the mechanisms and therapeutics of piceid on Parkinson's disease (PD) by the rat damaged by 6-OHDA and C57BL mice induced by MPTP, and to observe the protect role of piceid by cell cultured in vitro.Methods: 1. To induce PD by stereotaxic injecting into the right substantia nigra of brains on rat.â‘  Male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into shame operated group and model group randomly. In sham operated group, normal saline were injected instead of 6-OHDA. Then rotation toward the opposite side of damaged side were induced by apomorphine 7days later. The passed rats continued the experiment, whose rotated above 7 times were per minute.â‘¡PD rats were divided into model group and medication group. The later group were drenched piceid (50mg/kg , 100mg/kg) , L-Dopa (25mg/kg), L-Dopa (12.5mg/kg) +Piceid (50mg/kg) separately before micro-injected 6-OHDA.
