Research To Eliminating Effects Of Herba Violae Extract On Resistance Of E. Coli To Ciprofloxacin

Objective:To study the eliminating effects of herba violae extract on resistance of E. coli to ciprofloxacinMethods:Two antibiotic-resistant strains (K88~Cand K88~Z) and a multidrug resistance strain (RC) isolated from E coli K88~S via artificial induction and from young pigs with diarrhea respectively were used as test organisms. The fractional inhibitory concentration (FIC) was detected to evaluate the inhibitory effects of the combination use of herba violae extract and ciprofloxacin on the test organisms above by chessboard dilution method. The methods of replica plating, rapid plasmid extraction and agarose gel electrophoresis were used to observe the eliminating effects of herba violae extract on R plasmid. The accumulative concentration of ciprofloxacin in test organisms treated with herba violae extract was detected by methods of fluorometry.Results:...
