Objective To study the relationship and the expression of MRP1 in neoplastic tissues and peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) of non-small cell lung cancer, and explore elementarily the feasibility of neoplastic tissues replaced by PBL to detect the expression of MRP1 in non-small cell lung cancer, thus to find a new method in the MDR determination of chemotherapeutic treatment in non-small cell lung cancer. at the same time, we also explore the relationship between the expression of MRP1 in two tissues and clinicopathological features. Methods Among 42 non-small cell lung cancer patients and 6 benign pulmonary disease patients of control group, In situ hybridization and immun- ohistochemistry (immuocytochemistry) were used to examine the expression of MRP1 mRNA and protein in neoplastic tissues obtained through fibrobron- choscopic biopsy and PBL.Results 1.The positive expression rate of MRP1 mRNA and protein was 66.7%(28/42) and 71.4%(30/42) respectively in neoplastic...
