[Objective] To observe the spatiotemporal distribution pattern and the potential neuroprotection of activated Akt in the perihematoma region of rat brain following intracerebral hemorrhage;and to investigate the neuroprotective effects and the action mechanism of PI3K/Akt passway activated by NGF.[Method] The rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: sham group,control group and treatment group. The control group and the treatment group were subdivided into 6h,12h, 1d, 2d,4d and 7d groups respectivly. The experimental model of ICH was made by stereotaxical injecting collagenase (â…¦) into rats right caudate nuclei. The immunoreactivity of p-Akt,Bcl-2,and Bax were detected with immunohistochemistry methods.TUNEL staining was performed to determine apoptosis. Neurological severity scores was evaluated by Berderson's method.
