Objective: To study mechanisms of tudca protecting brain and its effect on apoptosis after intracerebral hemorrhage, we investigated the changes of cyt c in brain regions around the hematoma by the intervension of tudca. Methods: ICH models was induced in rats by injection of VII type collagenase into the the right globas pallidus . By TUNEL and immunohistochemistry, We investigated the dynamic changes of apoptosis and the expression of cytochrome c in perihematoma tissue (PHT) in ICH rats. Ultrastructures of the cells around the hematoma were observed with transmission electron microscope. Results: 1. In Model group the cyt c positive cells in PHT began to increase at 6 hours after hemorrhage(compared with normal group and Sham group P<0.01), the number of positive cells reached the peak at 1 day and then declined , and then returned to the level of Sham group at the 7 days postoperative. In TUDCA -treated Group tudca reduced the protein expression of cyt c at most times exclude 7 days and 10 days, especially at1 day 3 days and 5 days (compared with Model group P<0.01). 2. In...
