The author gives a new hypothesis—Hyperactivity of ganfeng with stasis of blood is a important pathogenic factors of migraine , vital Qi is the basement of pathogenesis in megrim. The fundamental pathogenesis lies in up-stirring of liver and stagnation of qi and blood stasis and interior wind caused by excessive liver-huo. So the author establishes the treating rule-calming the liver to stop the wind, removing static blood and resolving phlegm and relieve pain. On the basis of the mechanisms to explore the mechanisms of Qingnaoling (Chinese herb) .We chose animal model of migraine and measured the concentration of monomine transmitters such as 5-HT and NE by means of HPLC and observed Qingnaoling's efect on clinical symptom, hemorheology and TCD. 30 cases are treated by Qingnaoling ,30 cases by Fufangyangjiao Capsules. The statistical results showed that the total rate of effect is 89.67%. There are remarkable difference compared with control group (P<0.05) . Qingnaoling can improve patients' index of hemorheology and TCD.
