| For the present the research on acute stroke has been limited in such therapy principles such as Powder for Promoting Blood resolving blood stasis,resolving phlegm restoring menstruak flow,and so on. Modulating functioning of qi has not only been rarely studied,but also lacked of systemic and intensive investigation,especially in experiment research. The study guided by traditional Chinese medicine theory believes that disharmony functioning of qi and blood vessel congestion is crucial to acute stroke.Piwei is the centre of functioning of qi arising and falling,so that modulating Qiji which is important for the acute stroke treatment must been depent on make Sanjiao smooth,and what's more,restoring menstrual flow huo luo,should been applied in the whole course of this disease treatment.Sanhuatang is borned of Suwen bingji qiyinbaomingji·stroke ,which is invented by Physicion Lihejian in Jinyuan periods.Sanhuatang is mainly treated stroke which has shape transformations in the six meridians outside and inside faeces and urine obstructed. Sanhuatang emphasizes its quintessence lies in which it can adjust and sprinkle qi and blood,make Sweat pore smooth and modulate functioning of qi .This experiment is designed to observe Sanhuatang's protection effect and impact principle on old rats'injuring brain which has been dealed with ischemic-reperfusing .It turned out that Sanhuatang is capable of obviously decreasing TNF amount in injuring brain tissue ,evidently improving SOD amount and reducing MDA amount,relieving free radical injuring to brain tissue. The conclusion shows that Sanhuatang has prevention effect to brain reperfusing which is worthwhile to provide scientific evidence and effective medicine for acute stroke treatment by modulating functioning of qi.
