Objective:To study the relationship between the differentiation of diseases and symptoms and the local or the whole body status,as well as characteristic manifestation under breast fiberoptic ductoscopy,and search for the impersonal index for differentiation of symptoms and signs. Methods: Breast fiberoptic ductoscopy was applied to 240 patients of nipple discharge.Among these patients,60 cases with intraductal papillary lesion were cured through operation.Statistical analysis was performed to local discharge of the nipple,age of the patients,course of disease,manifestation under endoscope, manifestation of B-ultrasound,and pathological type.The relationship was studied between representation under breast fiberoptic ductoscopy and Differentiation of diseases and symptoms. Results:Factors of character of nipple discharge, course of disease,age of the patients,and the pregnant and delivery history,were relative to differentiation of symptoms and signs of TCM. Intraductal papillary lesion and non-papillary lesion were relative to differentiation of symptoms and signs of TCM. Intraductal papillary lesion was mainly seen in the syndrome of up-flaring of the liver-fire and syndrome of inability of the spleen to control blood flow.
