Experimental Study On The Effects On Virosis Fever Of Kaiqiao And Tongfu

Objective: According to the brain-intestinal connection theoretics,to carry out the experimental study of kaiqiao and tongfu treating virosis fever,discuss the antifebrile effect of niuhuang chengqi tang to virosis fever,study the function and significance of brain-intestinal peptide and immunoregulation to virosis fever,show the essential of kaiqiao and tongfu treating virosis fever.Methods: To made the rabbit model of virosis fever using Sendai virus,and treat them with niuhuang chengqi tang by filling stomach.Then observe its antifebrile effects and influences to substance P(SP),neurotensin (NT) in brain,intestine and peripheral blood,to CD4+ and CD8+ T cell in thymus,to interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in peripheral blood.Results: The contents of SP and NT in brain,intestine and peripheral blood and the rate of CD4+/CD8+ increase obviously (P<0.05).IFN-γin peripheral blood reduces obviously(P<0.05).Conclusion: The effect of kaiqiao and tongfu is better than either of methods alone in antifebrile and enhancing immune. The mechanism of brain-intestinal treatment are Regulating Qi Flow, Transporting and Distributing Body Fluid,and Paroxysmal Defeating Heat Force. SP and NT act negative-adjustmnet on fever. Immunoregulation is activiated by fever,which treats fever by humoral immunity and cellular immunity.
