| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Kuyi formula and chemotherapy for treatment of advanced colorectal carcinoma (ACRC). Methods: 40 cases of ACRC were divided into two groups by random, 20 patients in the treated group were administered with Kuyi formula and chemotherapy, the other 20 patients in the control group were treated with chemotherapy alone, and three-month was a course of treatment. Objective effects and the changes of subjective symptoms were studied. Result: Because of the significant improvement of the focus,subjective symptoms,body weights,quality of life and less toxic effects, the treatment with ITCWM showed better effects than single chemotherapy. Conclusion: The treatment with ITCWM can inhibit the growth of the tumor lines and have better effects, so it is worth studying further.
