[objective] For exploring the etiology of the adenomyosis ,the expression of PR-A, PR-B in different cell types of eutopic and ectopic endometrium in patients with adenomyosis during menstruation cycle were compared to the control endometrium.[Medthods]44 endometrial samples were obtained from patients with carcinoma of cervix uteri as control ,and from patients with adenomyosis by hysterectomy. According to the Noye's' dating criteria, the actually stages of endometrial samples were determined by HE staining sections. The temporal and spatial expression of PR-A, PR-B in glandular epithelial cells , stromal cells in eutopic and ectopic endometrium from adenomyosis during menstruation cycle was compared to the control endometrium by immunohistochemistry.[results]1. By microscope,we obviously observed the expression of PR-A, PR-B in glandular epithelium and stroma Cells of the control endometrium,. the expression of PR-A, PR-B has cyclic variation during menstruation cycle.2. In eutopic functional and basal endometrium of adenomyosis, the protein expression of PR-A, PR-B and PR was statistically lower (P<0.05) than the control functional and basal endometrium in stromal cells , but the same in glandular epithelial cells of functional endometrium as the control endometrium. . In eutopic basal endometrium of adenomyosis, the protein expression of PR-A and PR was statistically lower (P<0.05) than the control basal endometrium in glandular epithelial cells , but PR-B was statistically higher (P<0.05)...
