Objective: The study aims at discussing the influencing factors of the effect of concentrated recommendation, to know under what condition will get better result in order to improve working efficiency, and to provide scientific base for TB control organization to put in practice concentrated recommendation.Research methods: The study objects are the 171 villages that participated concentrated recommendation in 2005. We investigated and collected their population, income, the number of former suspicious patients, the number of former diagnosed TB patients and the number of patients that were found by concentrated recommendation in 2005.The methods of rank sum test, chi-square test, Spearman rank correlation, unconditional logistic regression and polytomous ordinal logistic regression were used to analyze the relation between patients finding and the influencing factors. We also simply evaluated the effect of concentrated recommendation.Main results: In the total of 171 villages, 53 of which had found TB patients by concentrated recommendation.The number of the villages that had found 1 patient, 2 patients, 3 patients and 4 patients is 34, 13, 3 and 3, respectively. Single factor analyze shows that the factors that can influence the possibility of finding TB patients involved population, the distance from county seat, the mission complete rate, radiography rate, the number of patients in recent 18 months, the number of suspicious patients in recent 18...
