Objective:To investigate the operation indication,timing,method,selective standards of feticided fetus and the number of reduced fetuses of selective pregnancy reduction in second trimester,to study the methods of improving the security and accuracy of selective reduction and reducing the adverse pregnancy outcome of multifetal pregnancy gradually.Methods: Trans-abdominal selective pregnancy reductions in 20 cases of multiple pregnancy during 11+5~25 weeks were performed under ultrasoundguide, the reduced fetus was not injected potassium chloride(KCl)intracardiacally until fetal heart beat stopped gradually.Periodic prenatal examination and monitoring coagulation function are needed after the procedure. And record the pregnancy complications and pregnancy outcome of all cases.Results:1.Successful pregnancy means the pregnancy finally obtains above one healthy newborn each time.The successful ratio of puncturing was 100% and the successful pregnancy ratio was 85%.2.In all 20 cases there were ten who deliveried after 36 weeks,six deliveried in 32~36 weeks,two deliveried in 28~32 weeks,two aborted after feticide. The mean gestational age of all was (34.5 ±4.8) weeks.3.The mean birth weight of seven singletons was (2875±322)g,ten twins was (2554±537)g,the neonates of three triplets all died except two fetuses are alive in one...
