Clinical Study On The Relationship Between BMP-7 And TCM Syndromes,Renal Interstitial Fibrosis Degree In Chronic Glomerulonephritis

Objective: 1 .To study the relationship between bone morphogenetic protein-7( BMP-7), collagen-III(Co1-III), α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA) expressions and renal interstitial fibrosis degree,renal function in chronic Glomerulonephritis. 2. To study the relationship between BMP-7 expressions and Zheng differentiation-classificstion of TCM。Method: 1, Immunohistoche stain to explore the expression of BMP-7,α -SMA, Col-III in renal tubulointerstitium of 60 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis and 6 normal controls, the relative positive area of BMP-7, α -SMA, Col-III were scored by compute-assisted image analysis software, while examined renal function,24 hour proteinuria , plasma albumin ,total serum protein。 2, All renal biopsy specimens were examined by morphological。Results :1,Compared with normal control , BMP-7 expression decreased significantly in chronic glomerulonephritis (p<0.01 )。2, BMP-7 expression decreased markly with the renal interstitial fibrosis progress, there was negative correlation between BMP-7and α-SMA, Col-III(r=-0.495, r=-0.468, p<0. 01).3, BMP-7 expression correlated with Zheng differentiation-classification of TCM。 BMP-7 expression was highest in normal control and in Lung-kidney Qi Deficiency group。 BMP-7 expression was lower markly in Lung-kidney Qi Deficiency group, Liver-kidney yin Deficiency, Qi-yin asthenia,Speen -kidney Yang Deficiency than normal control, P<0.o1; BMP-7 expression was lower markly in Qi-yin asthenia, Speen-kidney Yang Deficiency than in Liver-kidney yin Deficiency, p<0.05 。 BMP-7 expression was lower markly in Liver-kidney yin Deficiency than Lung-kidney Qi Deficiency ,p<0.01。4, Zheng differentiation-classification of TCM correlated significantly with renal interstitial fibrosis degree in chronic glomerulonephritis (r=0.778, P<0.01 )。 Patients of Lung-kidney Qi Deficiency and Liver-kidney yin Deficiency showed rather milder pathological changes,most of them belonged to grade 0-1(100%,60%); All patients of Qi-yin asthenia belonged to grade 2(100%).
