Effect Of Ginsenoside-Rh₂ On Proliferation And Apoptosis For HL-60 Cell Line

Objective:To examine the effect of ginsenoside-Rh₂(GS-Rh₂) on HL-60 leukem ic cell line proliferation and apoptotosis,and to probe its underlying mechanism. Methods:To observe metarnorphosis The inhibition of the effect of GS-Rh₂, As₂O₃, alon and both on the growth of HL-60 cell was analyzed by MTT colormetric assay and.we observ morphologic change of apoptosis by HE and (AO/EB) stains and apoptosis rate is decteted by citucell death dectectiong kit. Results: â‘ MTT colormetric assay revealed that the inhibition of GS-Rh₂ to the growth of HL-60 cells wsa in a does-and-time-dependent manner.â‘¡GS-Rh₂ combined with As₂O₃ showed significant synergistic anti-tumor effects on HL-60cells,the IR were higher than that of anti-tumor drugs alone, the IR were also increased with increasesing of the agents concentration,â‘¢When the concentration of GS-Rh₂ was increased from 10ug/ml～80ug/ml ,the apoptosis rate (AR) of HL-60 cell line ele vated; but when the concentration of GS-Rh₂ was increased in further, the AR nolonger rose. The apoptosis rate of GS-Rh₂ combined As₂O₃ with were obviously higher than that of anti-tumor drugs alone.
