Objective:B7-H3 has recently been identified as a new member of the B7 family. To primary study the relativity between B7-H3 and N-acetylgalactosminyltransferase,we detected the expression of B7-H3 and ppGalNAcT1-7 in the same cells by the method of RT-PCR.Methods:To characterize the expression of B7-H3 on some cell lines, we performed RT-PCR and Flow cytometry analysis. Then, for studying the relativity between B7-H3 and ppGalNAcT1-7, we selected seven cells of them to detect the expression of ppGalNAcT1-7 by the method of RT-PCR. Results:1.The mRNA of B7-H3 is expressed in HO8910, ECV304, EAhy926, SGC7901, H460, U937, SW1990, 8988, H1299, H460, MCF-7, SiHa, HepG-2, SK-Hep, while they are not expressed in SHG44.2.The expression of ppGalNAcT1-7 in HO8910,ECV304,EAhy926,SGC7901,HepG-2,SK-Hep,SHG44 is different. 3. We have found expressive discrepancy and consistency of B7-H3 and ppGalNAcT1-7 in different cells. The successful detection have made it possible for us to find the potential link and have laid a foundation for the further study.
