The Effect On Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor And Hemorheology Of Glucocorticoid-induced Avascular Necrosis Of Femoral Head In Rabbits By Treatment Of Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction

Purpose: To investigate the effect on vascular endothelial growth factor and Hemorheology of glucocorticoid-induced avascular necrosis of femoral head in rabbits by treatment of activating blood circulation.Method: 30 rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups; the rabbits in common group were as normal control; the rabbits in experimental group were administered with hydroxyprednisone through gluteus injection (twice a week) for 6 weeks as control; the. rabbits in healing groupl were given hydroxyprednisone as experimental group, and after 6 weeks administered with herb drugs of ABC for 4 weeks; the rabbits in control groupl were given hydroxyprednisone just as experimental group, and not given any drugs for 4 weeks; the rabbits in healing group2 were additionally given herb drugs of ABC for 7 weeks; the rabbits in control group2 were given hydroxyprednisone just as experimental group, and were not administered with any drugs for 7 weeks .The rabbits in common group and experimental group were killed 6 weeks after the baseline; the rabbits in healing groupl and control groupl were killed 10 weeks after the baseline; and he rabbits in healing group2 and control group2 were killed 13 weeks after the baseline. Results: â‘ the conditions of rabbits in common group were better than rabbits in all the other groups, and the weight of common group rabbits increased gradually from the baseline and that of experimental group, control groupl and control group2 rabbits decreased from the baseline; the body conditions of rabbits in healing groupl and healing group2 and showed better signs than those in experimental group, control groupl and control group2; â‘¡histomorphologic measurements showed that empty lacuna, increased and trabecula, of bone decreased...
