Background and ObjectiveWith the change from single biological mode to biological-psychological -social mode in medicine, cognitive impairment problem after stroke were given more and more attention. Patients with acute cerebral infarction meet cognitive problem as well, including feeling, language, abstractive thinking and memory .Because of different level impairment in cognitive function above, comprehensive ability descends, patients get problem in communication with low living quality. Cognitive function problem seems to be not only the point affect patients in adapation to society but also the key factor in convalesce, so it is more important to find the change in cognitive function with relevant affective factor and take early interruptive actions.In past many research about patient with acute cerebral infarction and cognitive function impairment were given from different levels and aspects studies. Relation between cognitive function and cerebral infarction position seem to be widely accepted, but relation between cognitive function and cerebral infarction size still remain under dispute ,it maybe relates the difference of research methods and sampling.
