The Relation Between HGF And Apoptosis Of Retina Cell On Ocular Hypertention

Objective: To investigate the relation between HGF and apoptosis of retina cell.Methods: Used forty postnatal 13-60 days SD newborn rats to built high IOP model. The right eye was experimental eye and the left eye was control eye. High IOP was maintained two weeks. Injected 2ug/ul HGF and normal saline in right and left eye separately after two weeks. Seven days later, executed the rats and enucleated the eyeballs. Retinal paraffin sections and retinal smear of rats were dyed with TUNEL to examine and count apoptotic cells and ,immunohistochemistry to examine bcl-2. Statistical conclusions were obtained..Results: There were apoptotic cell in both retinal of experimental and control group after a week. But the amount of experimental group were low than control group obviously. The amount of experimental group were higher than control group obviously in immunohistochemistry .
