Juniperus sabina L. ,a folk medicinal plant ,belong to the multiseeds of Junioerus of Cupressaceae family. It widely distributes in China, northen of Mongolia, Sibriya, central Asian , Europe et. The leaves and fruits are used in folk medicine as an remedy for chronic reheumatism, diuretic, abortifacient, chronic gout ,hemostasis .The present study focused on the total flavones of Juniperus sabina L.separating, purifying and its oxidationresistant effects ,with the objective of detecting flavonoids ingredients.Air-dried leaves, fruits, branches were extracted with aqueous methanol(1/1) by heated. The filtrate are analysed to determining the contents of flavonoids by means of UV-Vision spectrometry with rutin as a standard in order to detecting best pick time and part. The results show that the total amount of flavonoids in fruits picked in October is best and the ones of leaves is second. Then the leaves are extracted by acetone, ethanol, methanol to detecting the best solvent by determining the contents of flavonoids..The results indcated that methanol was best solvent and methanol was second. The leaves are extracted with aqueous ethanol three times. The filtrate were concentrated fluidextractum, then the fludextractum were purefied by thee kind methods. Then the flavonoids contents of three sample puefied were compared .The leaves of Juniperus sabina were extracted with aqueous ethanol. These crude extract was deposited lead acetate .Then the total flavonoids was combined with silica gel and eluted with ligroin, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, ethyl acetate and ethanol, successively. The ten fractions were gained. A and B were subjected to GC-MS analysis, and A was not determined. B was a mixture.C,D and E part wre flavonoids, but the structure were not determined. F,G,H,I and J were merged because their UV spectroscopic were same. So these fractions were subjiected to LS-UV analysis. The results showed that they were hypolaetin(5,7,8,3',4'-pentahydroxyflavone)-7-O-β-xylopy-anoside(UV:278,314sh,342),Isosc-tellarein-7-O-β-xylopyranoside(UV274,305,323), rhanetin(UV256,295,372),amentflavonoids(UV269,292sh,338).
