Juniperus sibirica Burgsd is a kind of creeping shrub plant,which is also named as shanhui,aihui,sibirica rigida and so on.Juniperus sibirica Burgsd is one of species of Juniperus L,which belongs to Juniperoideae Pilger family.It is widely grew in the gravel mountains,woodland or forest edge above 1400-4200 meters.This plant is mainly distributed in Northeast,Allah Tarzan,Tingri of China,and other countries including Europe Russia of Siberia,Korea,Japan,Afghanistan.Twigs with leaves and fruits of the plant can be used as medicine,and it tastes a little bitte,astringent andccold,providing with effect of heat-clearing and detoxicating.The plant Juniperus sibirica Burgsd,as a Chinese folk medicine is used in the treatment of Tripa disease diffusion,Pruritus and Hemorrhoids.Juniperus sibirica Burgsd is regarded as a better species of soil and water conservation and ornamental.Currently,the details of chemical study about this plant is few.The Air-dried branches and leaves of Juniperus sibirica Burgsd were extracted three times with 70% EtOH at room temperature.16 compounds were isolated by solvent extraction,repeated column chromatography and recrystallization,solica column chromatography,polyamide column chromatography,sephadex LH-20,macroporous resin column chromatographyl.According to physicochemical property,Co-TLC,spectral analysis and comparison with literature data,16 compounds were finally identified as cupressuflavone(1),Amentoflavone(2),AmentoflavoneNa(3),Isquercitrin-7-o-?-D-xylopyranoside(4),Hypolaetin-7-o-?-D-xylopyranoside(5),Isocryptomerin(6),Hinokiflavone(7),(P)-cupressuflavone4?-o-?-D-glucopyranoside(8),Quercetin-3-o-glucopyranoside(9),Luteolin 6-hydroxy-7-o-?-D-glucoside(10),Crotonoylcosmosiin(11),2-(2?-o-trans-caffeoyl)-C-?-D-glucopyranosyl-1,3,6,7-tetrahydroxyxanthone(12),7?-L-Rhamnosyl-6-methoxyluteolin(13),Quercetin3– o-?-D-rutinoside(14),Sequojaflavone(15),Beta –sitosterol(16).
